Cracked Bridgestone Tires at 3,300KM

Hi all,
Bought a Mini Countryman from Auto Bavaria Tun Razak back in July 2020.
In January 2021, I noticed that all 4 of my Bridgestone tires have cracked throughout the whole wheel. I contacted Bridgestone Malaysia and they sent someone to AB TR to check on the tires. The report states that all 4 tires, manufactured between 19 to 22 week of 2019 – not sure why the car is manufactured in 2020 but the tires given are mid cycle 2019, suffers from Ozone Crack, therefore they are not categorizing it as a defect.
Ozone Crack occurs when they car is not driven frequently. Now, I beg to defer. I have own other cars, which runs on tires too, and they do not suffer from such cracks given that I drive them with the same frequency. Furthermore, with the same logic that Bridgestone applies; all the cars in Malaysia will have suffer from Ozone Crack during the pandemic lockdown. I am of the opinion that Bridgestone have been skimping on material and have very poor quality control or Bridgestone Malaysia is just bullying their customers into accepting terrible reasons for their failure. Ozone cracks may or not may not occur in tires, but nonetheless happening at 3,300km/1 year is simply unreasonable. To add insult to the injury, when I called Bridgestone Malaysia, they were not apologetic or sympathetic towards the whole situation but rather finds it hilarious that a consumer would like the complaint about their product.
On the part of Auto Bavaria and BMW Malaysia, I have spoken to both representative and they were sitting on the sidelines while factitiously trying to appear sympathetic when I was trying to fight my case with Bridgestone Malaysia. Their respond is I will get back to you, I am assisting you to speak to Bridgestone, I will speak to management and bring up your case – this goes on for days and weeks. BMW Malaysia, as purchaser of Bridgestone tires, should have the ability to pressure the inferior tire company but rather they choose not to for whatsoever reason. It’s to everyone’s guess what happens behind the scene.
BMW’s current solution is that they will replace the tires with the demo car tires with 1000++ km. Poor demo car buyer.
Long story short, when purchasing your car make sure that you get new current year tires and opt our of Brickstone tires if you can. Auto Bavaria or BMW Malaysia is not going to assist you if anything goes wrong.
Anyone else facing the same issue?
